How to delete/deactivate your facebook account

what is difference between deactivate and delete?

Deactivation:

• Deactivating  account means you are making your facebook  account inactive. In this process your facebook time line is not visible to others, however mesages you send are still visible. 
• you can call deactivating your account as deleting your acount temporarly.
• you can find deactivate url in  your facebook account by going into account settings and then you will find security on left corner as shown in picture below

• deactivating accont helps again regain access to your account by just logging in.

Delete:

• in order to delete your facebook account permanently, you should request it in the help center of facebook. 
• once you search for "deleting fb account permanently" in the help center, you get the result "How do I permanently delete my account?"
• follow the instructions.
